In fauour of body comly, of minde gentle, milde, and mercifuil: so hunble and curteous of behauiour, as be might seeme onely in princely apparell to differ from other: honourably bountifull to all, but erceedingly liberall to good men. Simple natures he loned well: learned and honest wittes hee had in passing greate admiration. His olde friends at whose handes he had found pleasure, he rewarded erceedingly with honourable promotions, money, and other benefites.
