Sarmatia, A countrey of Enrope, whiche bordereth on the north, vpon the sea called Sarmaticum: on the west, vppon the ciner Vistula, and Germamie: on the south vppon Sidenburgh, Dacia, and Mysta inferiour: on the east vppon that Sarmatia, which is in Asia, the riuer Tanais, and the martsh Mæotis: vnder this be many countreys contayned, Polonia, Rhussia, Frussia, Lituania, Liuonia, Moscouia, &c. the greater part of this countrey is now vnder the king of Bole.
