Fallá-re, v. a.
1. to sin, commit a fault, fail in one's duty, do amiss; 2. to fail, to miss. Di poco fallò, ch'io non cadessi, I was very near falling. — i digiuni, to miss the fasts, not to observe them; v. n. to be excepted from the rule; v. r. to deceive one's self; s. m. Fallá-tóre,f.
