Lichen, huius lichénis, m. g. vel Lichêne, lichénes, pen. prod. fœ. gen. Plinius. A tettar or ring worme. Plinie taketh it for the dangerous rettars that beginneth in the chiune and thereof is called Mentagra. Lichen, Plin.It commonly hath beene taken for the hearbe called Linerwore.
