Atlanteus, and Atlanticus, a, um, Of Atlas.Atlanticæ insulæ, Two Iandes in the borders of Lybia, whiche they call the fortunate Iles. Seldome raine is in them, and very temperate, sweete windes, and bringing pleasaunt and holesome dewes: the ground battle and fertile of it self without mans trauell, bringeth forth sweete and delectable fruites vnto the ydle people. The aire holesome and temperate, without verie great chaunge in the times of the yere. For the Northerne windes passing throughe the desertes of Lybia, before they come to those Iles, are much broken and abated in their sharpenesse. Those windes that come from the seareast, are seldome, and bring temperate showers.
