Also a noble capitaine, whom great Alexander made his liuetenant of Macedonia, whiles hee was in his conquest: who did many valiaunt actes in the absence of Alexander, and kept the Realmes and dominions of his Master in good state through his wisedome and prowesse. But being at discention with Oueene Olimpias, shee wrote many greate complaintes to hir sonne againstc him. Finally (drending the crueltie, as well of Alexander, as of his mother) it is supposed, he consented to the poisoning of his Maister.Antipater.A philosopher, and poet of Sidone, instructour to Cato Vticensis. This man what day hee was borne, the same day yearely, had he an ague so long as he liued, and in the ende, the same day in course dyed of the same disease. There was a famous Poet, diuers Philosophers, and a sophister of this name.
