Appórre, v. a. (appon-go, -i, -e; -iamo, or -ghiamo, -ete, -gono; pass. appo-si, -se, -sero; fut. apporrò, &c.; part. apposto)
1. to add to, lay or place one thing upon another; 2. to impute to, charge with, accuse, find fault with.A voi s'appone la sua disgrazia, his misfortune is imputed to you; 3. to oppose, object; v. r.to guess, conjecture. M'apposi che non sarebbe venuto, I thought that he would not come.
